Privacy Policy

Serene Tracker is a cryptocurrency and stock information app. It does not connect to wallets, brokerages or payment accounts, and does not hold or trade funds.

Data you provide

Guest watchlists, quantities, cost basis and theme choices are stored in your browser. Price requests still send the selected asset to our market-data services. Signing in does not automatically upload a guest watchlist; use the import control to copy it to your account.

For signed-in accounts, Firebase stores your provider account identifier, email and profile, saved assets, optional quantities and average costs, favorite themes, email preferences and timezone, and price-alert thresholds and delivery status. Unsaved changes are also kept in this tab's session storage until acknowledged, so a refresh can retry them. These drafts are separated by account. Clear browser data on a shared device when finished.

How the app uses data

We use this information to sync your settings, show holdings calculations, provide requested analysis, and send welcome, requested alert and opted-in daily emails. We store delivery receipts and short-lived usage counters to prevent duplicate mail and limit service abuse. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

Service providers

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud provide sign-in, hosting, databases, public background storage and operational logs.
• Google Gemini receives asset data, chart observations and the questions, conversation history and analysis context submitted for AI features. Free-text questions can contain personal information you choose to include; avoid entering sensitive data. Generated landscape backgrounds use application-selected prompts and are shared publicly.
• SendGrid receives your verified email address and report or alert content. Reports can include portfolio quantities, cost basis, values and gains.
• QuickChart renders charts embedded in emails from chart specifications and price history. Loading remote email images also makes requests from your email client.
• CoinGecko, CoinPaprika, Kraken and Twelve Data supply prices and history. Requests include asset identifiers. Browsing external source links sends a request to that source; those sites have their own privacy practices.

Providers process data under their own service terms and retention practices. Operational requests may include network and device information such as IP address and browser headers.

Analytics

Product analytics is disabled. Firebase Analytics is not initialized on page load.

Your controls

The signed-in footer offers an export of your account profile and saved user document, including portfolio, preferences and alerts. It does not export service-provider logs or internal usage counters. You can remove saved assets and alerts individually.

Turning off the daily report stops daily emails. An unsubscribe link in any app email stops future report and alert emails. Adding a new alert or explicitly enabling daily emails in the app re-enables email delivery. A message already accepted by the email provider may still arrive after unsubscribe.

Deletion and retention

Account deletion blocks new activity, then removes the sign-in account, saved user document, delivery receipts and account usage counters. If an email is currently being sent, the app asks you to retry deletion after two minutes. A minimal account-identifier deletion marker remains to prevent outstanding sessions or delayed work from recreating deleted data. Public landscape backgrounds are shared assets and remain available.

Usage counters expire after at most two days; delivery records expire after 30 days through the database expiry process, which is asynchronous. Saved user data remains until removed or the account is deleted. Browser data can be cleared in your browser settings. Deletion cannot recall delivered emails or immediately remove service-provider logs and backups.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
