Privacy Policy

Serene Tracker (“the app”, “we”) is a cryptocurrency and stock price tracker available at serenetracker.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

You can use the app without an account. If you browse without signing in, your watchlist and theme choices are stored only in your own browser (local storage) and never reach our servers.

If you sign in with Google or X (Twitter), we store:

• Your account identifier, email address and display name, as provided by that sign-in provider.
• Your saved assets (portfolio and stock watchlist).
• Your favourite themes and display preferences.
• Your email preferences, including whether you opted in to the daily report and your timezone.

We never ask for, receive, or store your password, or any brokerage, wallet or payment credentials.

How we use it

• To sync your portfolio and preferences across your devices.
• To send the daily portfolio email, only if you explicitly opt in.
• To generate the AI market and news analysis you request.
• To understand aggregate, anonymous usage so we can improve the app.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third parties

The app relies on these services, which may process data in order to function:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, hosting and analytics.
• Google Gemini — generates market analysis, news summaries and backgrounds. Prompts contain the asset you are viewing, not your identity.
• SendGrid — delivers the daily email, if you opted in.
• CoinGecko, CoinPaprika, Kraken and Twelve Data — market price data. These receive the asset symbol being requested, not your identity.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (via Firebase) to collect aggregate usage information, such as which features are used and whether errors occur. This helps us find and fix problems.

Your rights

From the app footer, while signed in, you can at any time:

• Export your data — download everything we store about you as a JSON file.
• Delete your account — permanently erase your stored data and your sign-in record. This cannot be undone.

You can also unsubscribe from the daily email using the link in any email we send, or by turning off the daily email option in the app.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your stored document and sign-in record are removed immediately.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above.
